Features of ASIC Connect

ASIC Connect features a new user experience for transacting with ASIC. When you log into the service, you will notice a new look portal. You can learn more about the different sections of ASIC Connect below.

Home tab

This tab is the first screen you will see after successfully logging in to the service. It includes:

• myTransactions
  Displays the latest transactions made from your account, including any incomplete transactions that require action.
  Selecting ‘View all transactions’ will display all transactions made within the last 90 days.
• myMessages
  Displays the latest notices sent to your account. Notices sent to you will include renewal reminder notices and transaction approval/denial notices.
  Selecting ‘View all messages’ will display all messages sent to your account within the last 90 days.

Person details

This tab displays your personal details. It includes:

• myDetails
  Displays your name and birth details, taken from the business name register. If your birth details are not recorded on the register, they will not be displayed.

• myRoles
  Displays any role you hold with a business name.

• my Addresses
  Displays your personal addresses, including your email address.
  If the details displayed on this tab are incorrect, selecting the ‘Change details’ button will take you to the Lodgements and notifications tab to make changes.
   

Business details

This tab displays details about the businesses you are linked to. To display the details, select a business from the table. Once selected a number of sections will be displayed, including:

• General details
  Displays the name, renewal date and ASIC identifier of the selected business.

• Business name addresses
  Displays the addresses associated to the selected business, including email and SMS numbers. This information is taken from our business name register.

• Business name holder details
  Displays information about all the people and organisations that hold a business name, including partnerships and joint venture partnerships. This information is taken from the business name register.

• Business name partner details
  Displays information about the individual partners who hold a business name in a partnership or a joint venture partnership. This information is taken from the business name register.

• Representative details
  Displays details of people or organizations that have been nominated to act as representatives of a business name.
  
  If the details displayed on this tab are incorrect, selecting the ‘Change details’ button will take you to the Lodgements and notifications tab to make changes.

• Business name registration
  This tab allows you to start a new business name registration application. Selecting the ‘Business name registration’ button will start a new application.

• Lodgements and notifications
  This tab allows you to complete transactions on your linked businesses.  The drop down menu beside each business name will display available transactions.
  
  Selecting a radio button beside any business name will display identical details to those in the business details tab. The tab displays identical ‘myTransactions’ and ‘myMessages’ windows as the home tab.The tab also allows you to complete ‘other notifications’ that are unrelated to your linked business names, such as requesting a correction to registry details.

• My account
  This tab displays and allows you to change your ASIC Connect account details, including your password, contact number and security question and answer.
