Anyone who offers you a financial or investment product or gives you financial advice must have an Australian Financial Services (AFS) licence or be authorised by someone who is licenced. Make sure that the person or company you are dealing with is licensed by searching the ASIC Professional Registers Search.
ASIC is transforming the experience for AFS licensees. If you want to run a financial services business, you can apply for an AFS licence through our new dashboard for licensing within the Regulatory Portal but you will need to register first.
