Why do I have to pay for my search products?

We provide basic information free of charge wherever possible. However, the law sets fees for obtaining some publicly available information contained on our registers.

What are the fees for search products?

Search products have different fees depending on the type of product and the size of the document. To view the costs of search products, please visit our fees page

Do I have to pay postage and handling if my product is sent by mail?

No, there is no fee for postage and handling.

Will I be charged GST?

No, ASIC search fees are GST free.

How can I pay for my search products?

You can pay for your search products by credit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Can anyone access my credit card details once I pay for my products?

The protection and security of information that you provide on this website is very important and strict industry standards are applied at all times.

Payment information that you enter when using this site is processed and stored in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This Standard has been developed by the PCI Security Standards Council which is an open global forum responsible for the ongoing development, enhancement, storage, dissemination and implementation of security standards for account data protection.

The information that you provide is protected through the use of Secured Socket Layer (SSL) 128 bit encryption. You will notice that the URL in your browser is 'HTTPS' instead of 'HTTP'. This is because this security feature has been invoked. Your browser may also display a lock symbol on the bottom task bar line to indicate that a secure website is being used.

The storage of payment information on the host server used by this website is protected from external networks by the deployment of firewalls and proxy servers.

How do I view my payment receipt?

A receipt will be emailed to your nominated email address. A link to your receipt will also be provided on screen when your purchase has been processed. Simply select the “View and print payment receipt” button.

The receipt provides payment summary information, confirmation of the products ordered, information on the products purchased and if applicable, confirmation on the certified documents which will be delivered via mail.

I ordered the wrong product. Can I get a refund?

Once you have completed your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund. Please ensure you remove any unwanted products from your shopping cart before purchasing information.
