Filter by officeholder birth details
If you know the birth details of a director or secretary, you can use this to filter a person name search. This criteria can be entered on the advanced search screen for a person search. Date and place of birth filters will only apply to person records that have director and secretary roles only.

Display of different role types
Company & professional roles are regulated under different legislation to credit roles and therefore the results list of a person search will display credit roles on a separate line.
If a person holds a credit role in addition to other roles, they will be displayed on the results list twice. However, if a name appears on the list twice it does not necessarily mean that it is the same person.
Credit information is not included on a personal name extract.
Director role type includes alternate directors
If you have selected director as a role type on the advanced search screen, your search results will also include alternate director roles.

Searching by current roles only
Performing a general person search will return persons with both current and historical roles. An asterisk against the role indicates that it is a former role. If your search has returned too many results you can use an advanced search to only show persons who hold a current role.

Multiple results on one paid extract
When conducting a person search, there may be many results that match the name you have entered. This could be because there are many people with the same name or there are duplicate records of the same person. To account for this, we allow you to choose up to 99 person records to be included in the one extract, at one price.
To do this, select all the person names you wish to purchase from the results list. Click the 'View details' button and all the person names selected will show on the view details screen. From this screen you can add the person extract to the shopping cart.

Viewing free information
Some information relating to persons can be viewed for free. If a person holds a professional role or has a banning or disqualification it will be shown in the results list of a person search as a hyperlink. Clicking on this link will open the free information in a new window.
